This gathering is for all students—freshmen through post-doctoral scholars. We meet at 6:00 PM for a dinner graciously provided by ULC members, followed by discussion. Stay for all or come for as much as you are able. Meets during the instruction periods of the academic year. More information and a schedule of events can be found at students.ucsdlutheran.net.

Senior Bible Study and Growth — Tues., 10:30–11:30 AM
The deacon leads a study of the Gospels at The Patrician, a senior living facility, 4025 Pulitzer Place, San Diego, CA 92122. All are welcome. We gather with refreshments and mutual greeting, followed by a time of study and reflection. We are currently studying the Gospel of Mark.

Catechumenate
The Catechumenate (pronounced Kat-ah-kum-inate) is a beginning process of education and formation in the Christian Faith. It includes an introduction to the basics of the Christian Faith – Creed, Sacraments, Law and Good News, Prayer, Scripture, and Fellowship. This process prepares individuals, by way of group exploration and instruction, for membership in the Lutheran Church. It is held for 8 weeks. Two sessions are offered each year, one in the fall and one in spring. The process culminates with the rites of Affirmation of Faith for those previously confirmed, and Confirmation for those not yet confirmed. If you are interested in participating, please contact pa@ucsdlutheran.net.

Choir and Music Ministry
All who desire to participate in our ministry of music are invited to be part of this group. Those whose gifts are more technical than musical are also invited to assist us in the development of our ministry.
